About Audrey

Audrey has a Masters of Counseling from the University of South Dakota and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Before opening her own practice Audrey worked in outpatient, academic, and residential settings. She also spent two years working as a State Youth Coordinator for the Iowa National Guard. As such, Audrey has experience and understanding of the unique struggles that are faced by service members, veterans, and their loved ones. Audrey has also presented at multiple professional conferences including the V.A. & IA National Guard Transitions Conference, Iowa Mental Health Counselors Association Annual Conference, and the Youth and Shelter Services, Inc. Annual Risky Business Conference. 

Through counseling, Audrey provides a safe, non-judgmental environment to enable clients to develop tools for growth and sustainable change. Understanding that each client is unique and cannot all be served by the same approach, Audrey is trained and  efficient in several treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused therapy. 

Audrey's passion to serve others is not limited to her counseling practice. Audrey has a raised two service dogs, which were placed with recipients suffering from Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Audrey also enjoys volunteering for a local animal rescue and is an active member of the National T.T.T. Society.
